My Safe Place
This world is a difficult place to live, So I need a safe place to be, Where I can relax and just be myself, In a spot of serenity.
It must be a place of refuge, From the fire of the enemy’s side. For this planet’s at war; Satan’s seeking control, And I must have a safe place to hide.

God offers to me His strong tower To which I may run and be safe. This place is none other than Jesus; I am safe in His loving embrace.
The battle is raging around me, There is trouble on every side. Yet my life is hidden in Jesus, And within me my Savior abides.
I relax in His comforting presence, Trusting He’ll care for my needs. In this safe place of refuge I’m resting. I am loved, I am saved, I am freed.
