In Christ I Live

By faith I press forward in life,
Seated in heavenly places in Christ,
Lifted above confusion and strife,
My feet are secure on the Rock.

Living with confidence and cheer,
Knowing the Lord, my Helper, is near,
Who banishes the darkness of fear,
He is my salvation and Light.

I seek the glory of His face,
God hides me in His secret place,
Revealing to my heart His grace,
I live in the presence of God.

In God’s strength I walk each day,
He gives me courage for the way,
And with me He will ever stay,
I choose to trust His plan.

My desire is to know God’s will,
I lift my voice to pray, and still
The answers may not come until
The time of trouble is o’re.

Yet, I will sing and praise God’s name,
He is good; He will not change,
He’ll take the loss and make it gain.
I’ll wait upon the LORD.
